Hamato Yoshi

Hamato Yoshi, along with his wife and 4 sons, were executed by Oroko Saki for criticizing  Saki.  Yoshi and Saki were once friends, but their relationship deteriorated after Yoshi married Tang Shen.  

Centuries later, Yoshi was reincarnated as a mutant rat, and his sons returned as mutant turtles.  They took this opportunity to continue their feud with Sake, now calling himself the Shredder.
