Amazing-Man Comics began publication in 1939 by Centaur Publications, one of the earliest American comic book publishers, during the Golden Age of Comic Books and ran until 1942. The anthology series was named after it's star superhero, Amazing-Man, created by Bill Everett, who later influenced te creation and origin of Charlton Comics' 1960s superhero Thunderbolt (Peter Cannon), as well as Marvel Comics' Iron Fist character in the 1970s.
